The Multiple Cat - My Planet - 3:16
We’re going back to 1996 with this track. The Multiple Cat was Patrick Stolley’s personal project. He wrote/co-wrote, played instruments and sang on all of their songs. Based in Davenport Iowa, Stolley was adjacent to a flourishing mid-90’s Post-Hardcore scene in Illinois. The influence is easy to hear on TMC’s debut album Territory Shall Mean the Universe. But Stolley’s music is not so easily defined, often taking unconventional twists. The falsetto bridge on “My Planet” turns angst filled power-pop into something a little more memorable.
